In order to prolong the economic growth and improvements in living standards, the region must expand its electricity generation capacity enormously and improve energy efficiency as well. So called passive energy efficiency measures, such as insulation or low-consumption equipment are not enough, and the contribution of information technology (IT) in design, construction and installation has become key.
